This is the first step in a longer journey towards a recognised qualification with the International Coach Federation only. The ICF qualification is a more highly sought-after qualification in the coaching field globally than the Australian AQTF system. This course has been designed to allow people to get started with integrated some core coaching skills into their work, without the investment of time and money required to become a professional coach. It is intended to allow participants who wish to pursue a full qualification to return at a later date and continue with other modules, without needing to repeat this learning.

The course is a part of the larger accredited qualification.  The minimum standard for a Coaching Qualification is 60 hours of Coach Specific Training.  This course provides 14 hours towards this total.  If you wish to go on and practice professionally as a coach, joining the ICF and being insured to charge for coaching services, you will need to build on this Foundation with additional hours.  Our Level 2 training will provide the 46 hours of ACSTH training to make up the full 60 hour qualification.

Our trainings have a 14 Participants to 1 Trainer Ratio to ensure quality of in-class room supervision. Our mentoring groups are with a maximum of 5 people, to ensure that every member has an experience of live coaching, and receiving feedback equally.

The course can be completed in 4 months minimum, and most students working at pace will complete it in 6 months.

Whether you take this program on-line or a blend of on-line and in-person, there is an of 9 full days in total. There is equivalent extra days of on-line self-paced elearning on the iWAM instrument.

There is a requirement to do a minimum of coaching sessions outside of class for purposes of practice and receiving feedback from your mentor. Written work should take no more than a few hours. Most people take at least 6 months to complete this, however it can be completed more quickly if you wish

It is a recognised qualification with the International Coach Federation only. This is a more highly sought-after qualification in the coaching field globally than the Australian AQTF system.  This course is actually 1 half of an ACTP qualification, the highest recognition of a training with the ICF.  You can reach PCC level recognition with the other half of this training ‘Higher Professional Training Skills’.

If you are interested in further recognition, please ask us about the possibility of joining a globally recognised Postgraduate qualification  ‘The MA Neuro Coaching’, which can offer Post-Graduate Certificate and Diploma level qualifications, as well as Masters by Thesis. To receive this qualification requires significant additional work and investment. This course can contribute to one of the modules of that larger qualification. University qualifications from the UK are recognised in Australia and are considered to be a higher level qualification than a vocational education qualification (Certificate or Diploma).

The course is accredited with the largest independent professional association for Coaches globally, which provides the ‘gold standard’ for Coaching skills (The International Coach Federation). This course is designed to deliver skills in these competencies.

This will allow you to become a member of the ICF by providing over 60 hours of Coach Specific Training, based in the ICF definitions of Coaching and Code of Ethics.

For a PCC Application: the hours in this training can contribute to a PCC level application, requiring 120 hours. You will be able to take part of the course if you wish at a reduced price, to avoid repetition of Foundation concepts and skills (4 days instead of 6). Your Mentor will be a PCC level Coach so your Mentor Log can be used for a PCC level application. You may also use the hours as CCEU points (48 hours) in an ACC renewal.
